History & Theories of Spirit Photography

In an effort to study and better understand spirit photography we are posting this page in order to provide information and education on the subject of spirit photos.

Please remember that researching anything paranormal is not an exact science. We don't have all the answers, that's why we are here, to read, experiment and review data pertaining to the unexplained. We will be posting articles, photos, links and information to help you and ourselves ,in researching this interesting subject. We make no profit from the posting of any articles or photos published and make no claims to copywrites on any information that is not produced or written by MSSPI. We provide this information in order to share research, ideas, theories and data with our peers and interested readers.

MSSPI makes no claims that any photo is hard core proof of ghosts or spirits. We will tell you when something we post has an explaination or possible explaination, we will also tell you when we think it's possibly paranormal and when we just don't know. If you would like to share your photos or articles with us, please email us at mississippi.spi@gmail.com

You can view photos and leave comments in the MSSPI photo gallery albums. We encourage your thoughts and insight as to what you think of the photos we post. If you have a suggestion or possible explaination theory, feel free to share it.  If you choose to send us a photo for review be aware that we will point out obvious bugs, dust, and cigarette smoke or tampered images in a heartbeat. If your not sure what that looks like view our What's Not Paranormal Link for examples of images we have solid explainations for. Compare your photos and then if your still not sure or just really think you have something, then feel free to send it.

We prefer the original unedited copy of your photo should you decide to share with us and we will give you credit for anything you submit. Please include the type equipment you used and the conditions at the time of the photo when submitting. Please try and limit your file size to 5 mg. or less.
